i will probably look back at this post and many others a few months from now and wonder what in the world i was thinking. i am on the path to being one of those crazy cat ladies, but i think two things do exclude me from that title: one, i am married & two, i do not like cat paraphernalia. now that that is solved, i must tend to the bird head my lovely animals have just brought into the house. oh, joy.

mama cat stood guard the whole time i took these photos. she was a little feisty with me, hissing now and then to let me know when i was getting too close. didn't know mama cats could be so overprotective.
