at the moment we are in tuscaloosa, al. it is pouring down rain and a little chilly. the boy’s are inside a church writing for their upcoming album and i am sitting in the car eating starbursts and “surfing the web”.

we have been in tuscaloosa since sunday evening due to the fact we had yesterday and today off (which is rather annoying considering we just started and will have no other days off when we will really need them). later on today we will be heading to jackson, ms. nothing terribly exciting has happened on tour so far. i think all the fun is waiting for us in texas. i have sold a few items and have already made a pretty penny. we have loved touring with our good and oh-so-talented friends, harvard. be sure to check them out on their myspace. they are one of those bands you sit there listening to and feel like you are witnessing something special. you can almost bet that one day you will have the privileged opportunity to say to people, “i knew them before they were big”.

i will probably look back at this post and many others a few months from now and wonder what in the world i was thinking. i am on the path to being one of those crazy cat ladies, but i think two things do exclude me from that title: one, i am married & two, i do not like cat paraphernalia. now that that is solved, i must tend to the bird head my lovely animals have just brought into the house. oh, joy.

just to clarify…

the post made on Oct 17th about Jeremiah and my illegal activities was true but not meant to come off as disturbing as it did (*wink wink, mom*). Jeremiah and I do not partake in illegal activities regularly. we wanted to explore the railroad tracks, which just happened to be illegal. as for the knife, i took it for protection but didn’t intend to use it on anyone and to clarify, it wasn’t a machete either. we wanted to go exploring and brought protection for the worst of the worst case scenarios.

sorry if the post freaked out or confused anyone. i really did not intend for that to happen.
